Cupcake Flags with Free Template

I made some cupcakes for a potluck last night with butter cream icing. Seeing as I used a freezer bag instead of a piping bag, the icing turned out less attractive than I had planned. But fear not, because I had a printer and toothpicks!!!

Who will notice the wobbly icing once I place cute little flags on top?

The only problem was that they now looked more suited to a baby shower than a house warming potluck, but not to worry - cute is cute, regardless of the event.

Here is the free template for the flags. Print them, cut them out, fold in half and glue onto a toothpick.
